AIM @ “SOMETHING”

“The major reason for setting a goal is for what it makes of you to accomplish it. What it makes of you will always be the far greater value than what you get.” Jim Rohn

Bob Proctor teaches this: Gratitude Attunes You To Success In the present tense. Write a statement of gratitude for everything that you feel blessed to have in your life now. Your statement below will become a tool for you to use to keep you on track towards achieving your goals. When you feel like you are getting off track or need some motivation, come back to this statement and read it over and over until you feel a shift.

“When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.” Tony Robbins

Bob Proctor instructs : Choose wants not needs. Choose a goal that is something you WANT, not something you need. There is no inspiration in needs; however, there definitely is inspiration in WANTS. The goal does not have to be logical, in fact, you will probably be much more inspired if it is totally illogical. A worthy goal will make you feel uncomfortable, because it will be foreign to you—uncharted territory. If you already know how you are going to get your goal then chances are it is not a good goal—you probably have already achieved it before in some shape or form. Chances are if the goal excites you and frights you at the same time, you are on the right path. The goal is right for you! As John Maxwell says, “A dream should never be evaluated according to its size. That’s not what determines its worth. A dream doesn’t have to be big. It just has to be bigger than you are.”

MY GOALS

MartinLive.com’s suggested Areas to Consider when setting your GOALS:

1. Spiritual Goals – How close do you want to be to God? If your spiritual life was perfect, what would it look like?

2. Emotional Needs – How happy do you want to be? On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you today? What do you have to do to reach a 10? Do you accept both the good and the bad with equanimity?

3. What is the state of your Body and physical strength and well being? How strong are your joints? Are you fit? Set a goal to become fit and keep fit.

4. What relationship with your spouse and children do you dream of?

5. What network/relationship/friendships have you established that you can rely upon?

6. What about career/your purpose on earth? Why are you here? What special gifts do you have? What would you like to be? What would you like to be remembered as?

7. Travel – where have you been so far and what are the memories? Where would you like to visit and why?

8. What is your networth today? Why don’t you have 10 times that amount? What is your reason? How many more years before you retire? How much do you spend per year currently? Do you have 20 times that amount to live on if you retire today at say 65 years?

9. What Books have you not read yet? Ask your network to recommend books that has touched their hearts? Make a list of all the books.
